Domestic Medium Hair-black and white - Medium - Young - Female -
Flash was either dropped off or wandered into a feral colony managed by St. Francis FFF in an area known to be inhabited by coyotes. She is not feral and had no idea how to relate to the colony of feral cats.. The colony did not accept her presence and she had to defend herself. She would wait for me to bring food and then sit at a distance and wait for all the other cats to leave before attempting to get whatever food was left. She was there waiting every morning for food and was very vocal as I approached. It took me a couple of weeks to catch her. I can't keep her in my house. I have a multiple cat household and she needs to be alone. She is being kept in a large dog pen outside under a tree. I placed a small dog house in the cage for protection from the elements. The pen is covered. She is long, black with a tuft of white fur on her chest. There is a little white on her back paws and her front fingers. She had some issues for a couple of weeks but she is now getting accustomed again to being handled and stroked. She has become very comfortable with me and affectionate. She needs someone with patience to have a long lasting and trusting relationship. She deserves someone to make her comfortable and happy once again.
