White Pearl Necklace with Gold Clasp [Opera-Length, Large Pearls]
About 35-5/8” long (pearl-end to pearl-end), with a just-under ¾” “hook and buckle” clasp. Hook is marked, “14K, some symbol, CHINA.” The symbol looks like either a diamond, with an elongated “M” within; or, 2 vertical lines, with a squiggly line between them. Pearls are under 3/8” in diameter.
Each pearl is an imperfect, fat oval. They are on a knotted, white string. They have a pinkish iridescence, when light hits them right. You can see imperfections and some pearl dust, upon close inspection.
Necklace has a heavy feel to it, weighing around 3-1/4 ounces.
We think they were purchased within the last decade.
